Use and Care
Before first use
Remove all labels, wash the cookware in hot water with washing-up liquid, and wipe it dry with a soft cloth or sponge.
Pour a small amount of sunflower/olive oil onto the pan surface and spread it with a paper towel over the whole inside surface. The oil is necessary to gently season the surface and ensure a good performance of the coating. Repeat this from time to time, especially if the cookware has not been used for a long period of time.
How to use cookware
Before cooking your food, please check if the pan is clean.
Remove ingredients from the fridge at least 10 minutes prior to cooking to make sure their temperature is equal to room temperature. Do not put frozen products into a hot pan.
When frying on vegetable oil or butter, warm it up on small or medium heat for one or two minutes before adding any more ingredients
When frying fat-free, always pour a few drops of oil onto the surface.
Do not heat an empty or oil-free pan for a long time, as this would diminish or eliminate Its non-stick properties.
Fry on small or medium heat. Strong heat can only be used e.g. for boiling pasta in water
The heating field’s size should correspond with the size of the cookware base. This guarantees fast cooking, saves energy, and extends the cookware’s lifespan.
In the case of gas cooktops, the flame should only cover 2/3 of the base, without reaching the walls. 16 cm diameter cookware should be put on a small burner; 20, 22, and 24 cm diameter cookware on a medium burner, while those measuring 26 and 28 cm in diameter should be used on a big burner. This way the non-toxic plastic handles will not melt.
When using electric cooktops, make sure your cookware has a dry base. Drops of water impede heat transfer between the heating field and the outside cookware surface.
The coating has high scratch resistance. However, to be able to use it for a long time you should use bamboo, silicone, plastic, or wooden kitchen utensils.
If some food gets stuck to the spoon or spatula, do not try to remove it by hitting the pot rim! Covers should be gently placed on the rim.
Do not use any knives, forks, or other sharp metal utensils, as they may damage the coating.
Do not put the cookware into an oven.
Maintenance
After cooking, cool down the cookware and wash it with a sponge using any gentle washing detergent. Do not pour cold water onto a hot pan.
Rinse the cookware with warm water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth inside and outside.
Make sure to wash the cookware thoroughly immediately after use. However, if some food gets stuck to the surface, you can easily remove it. Pour a small amount of water into the pan and heat it on a low fire for 5-15 minutes, without letting the water boil. Then, scrape the remaining food away with a wooden spoon.
Never pour cold water into a hot pan/pot!
Do not use metal scrapers or abrasive cleaners
When stacking your cookware one on top of another, put some paper towels between them to ensure the too oan does not scratch the bottom one.
Every now and then check it the handles are firmly fixed to the cookware body
This cookware is not dishwasher safe!
